Valea Crişului (Valea Crişului)

Valea Crișului (Sepsikőröspatak ) is a commune in Covasna County, Transylvania, Romania composed of two villages:

* Calnic / Kálnok

* Valea Crișului / Sepsikőröspatak

It formed part of the Székely Land region of the historical Transylvania province. Until 1918, the village belonged to the Háromszék County of the Kingdom of Hungary. After the Treaty of Trianon of 1920, it became part of Romania. In 2004; the village of Arcuș split away from Valea Crișului to form an independent commune.

Romania (România ) is a country located at the crossroads of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. It borders Bulgaria to the south, Ukraine to the north, Hungary to the west, Serbia to the southwest, Moldova to the east, and the Black Sea to the southeast. Europe's second-longest river, the Danube, rises in Germany's Black Forest and flows southeasterly for 2857 km, before emptying into Romania's Danube Delta. The Carpathian Mountains cross Romania from the north to the southwest and include Moldoveanu Peak, at an altitude of 2544 m.
